Port Bruce 2026
We recently packed up and headed to Port Bruce for a perfect family getaway on the shores of Lake Erie with Pam (Mom), Roger, Kathy, Hilary, Miles, and I. Our home base was a nice, relaxing cottage at Revive Bee Line, which gave us a cozy spot to unwind. We spent our days doing a bit of everything—hunting for hidden treasures at a local thrift store, sipping a wine sampler at Skye Chase Estate Winery, a quick visit and some shopping at Sparta Candles and even taking a fun, nostalgic trip through the Gay Lea Dairy Museum.
The trip was a nice blend of exploring, laughing, and slowing down together, though we did make one classic packing miscalculation; I’m pretty sure we brought enough groceries to survive a minor apocalypse; if the cottage had suddenly been cut off from civilization, we could have comfortably opened our own grocery store. To cap off the relaxing visit, we ended our trip sitting under the stars at Port Bruce Provincial Park, watching a fireworks show over the water. It was the perfect finale to a weekend filled with great memories, unique local finds, and absolutely zero chance of anyone going hungry.
